Availability of Xanax® (Alprazolam) 250 mcg & 500 mcg Tablets supply update

Viatris* anticipates a short-term supply interruption which will affect the short-term availability of Xanax® (Alprazolam) in the UK.

We understand the importance for individuals prescribed Xanax® (Alprazolam) to have access to this medicine. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that our products are always available, on this occasion and due to administrative processes associated with importation/exportation impacting logistics, there is a short-term interruption in supply. The reason for the interruption in supply does not impact the quality, safety or efficacy of the finished product currently available on the market.

We are working with our third-party manufacturer and anticipate normal supply resuming in early January 2023.
