PATIENT INFORMATION LEAFLET

Boots Glycerin 0.75 g / 5 ml Oral Solution

Honey & Lemon Flavour

Soothes & relieves dry coughs & sore throats

Read all of this peel and read label before use.

Glycerin 0.75 g / 5 ml Oral Solution is taken to relieve the symptoms of dry coughs and sore throats.

Dosage: Syrup for oral use. Shake the bottle before use.

Adults and children over 12 years: Take one or two 5 ml spoonfuls (5 ml to 10 ml).

Children from 6 to 12 years: Take one 5 ml spoonful.

Children from 1 to 5 years: Take half a 5 ml spoonful (2.5 ml).

The above doses may be taken up to four times daily. Wipe the neck of the bottle and replace the cap securely without over tightening. Do not give to children under 1 year.

Do not use:

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have difficulty digesting glucose or sucrose. Do not use if you are taking any other products containing potassium tartrate, carbonates or bicarbonates. Prolonged use may cause tooth decay or stomach upset. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Further Warnings: If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicinal product. Contains 5 g of a mixture of sucrose, glucose and fructose per 10 ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. This medicinal product contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100 mg per 10 ml dose.

Active Ingredient:

Glycerin 0.75 g per 5 ml.

Other Ingredients: Sucrose, Honey, Glucose, Citric Acid E330, Lemon Flavour, Lime Flavour, Sodium Benzoate E211 and Purified Water.

Storage: Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not store above 25°C. Keep out of direct sunlight.
