The Medicines Compendium contains just under 2000 Summaries of Product Characteristics (SPCs)
for licensed medicines from around 90 companies and is updated annually. The
SPCs are taken from the electronic Medicines Compendium (eMC) at
http://emc.medicines.org.uk. The eMC is updated daily and in real time
by the contributing pharmaceutical companies and contains Summaries of Product
Characteristics and Patient Information Leaflets.
Whilst you await your copy of the Medicines Compendium 2010, please do
visit the eMC to view any of the information published within the Compendium.
Access to the eMC does not require registration and is free of charge.
The Medicines Compendium is published by Datapharm Communications Ltd. The
information you provide will be held securely by Datapharm and will not be
passed on to any third party. It will be used solely to communicate with you on
matters relating to the Medicines Compendium.
