The Information Standard is the new certification scheme from the Department of Health. It entitles producers of health and social care information, who meet rigorous quality criteria, to use the newly launched quality mark on their information materials. This provides members of the public with a quick way of identifying sources of good quality, reliable information. Datapharm is one of 36 founding members of the Department of Health's new certification scheme.

On 23rd October 2009 the ITV Tonight programme discussed heart disease and stroke. Presenters of the show mentioned Medicine Guides and link to the resource from the Tonight programme website. This exposure saw a marked increase in traffic to Medicine Guides that evening.
