Do you need more information about a medicine?

If you are a patient, member of the public or carer and would like more information about your medicine, please contact your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. Alternatively, please contact the pharmaceutical company that sells the medicine.

If you are a healthcare professional, please contact the pharmaceutical company that sells the medicine.

You can find the pharmaceutical company's contact details by using the 'Pharmaceutical company A-Z' option or, alternatively, their contact details can be found at the top of each Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC) or Patient Information Leaflet (PIL).

Do you need to report a side effect?

A side effect is also known as an adverse effect, adverse reaction or adverse event. A side effect is an unexpected symptom caused by the use of a medicine.

If you have experienced a side effect when using a medicine, you should report it to the Yellow Card Scheme, which is run by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in the UK. Alternatively, please contact your doctor, nurse or pharmacist.

  • select Print Preview,
  • select Print Document
