The dm+d is hosted and managed by the NHS Business Services Authority, Prescription Pricing Division (PPD). It provides a unique code for each UK medicine pack which will help improve patient safety, and enable electronic prescribing and electronic patient records.
Datapharm's dm+d browser provides easy access to the dm+d information. The data is provided by the PPD and is updated weekly.

Datapharm also provides In-Demand, an electronic system that allows pharmaceutical companies to update their product information on the dm+d. In-Demand available to pharmaceutical companies only.
